Physical Therapy
Now at Core Studios you can get even more, welcome Keva Price, Physical Therapist, Professional Pilates Instructor.
As a physical therapist her number one priority is to restore independant functioning to the client. She will provide a full, 55 minute session of one on one treatment through manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and various forms of exercise equipment including Pilates. This approach, which vastly differs from traditional physical therapy, treats the entire body. Physical therapy helps decrease pain, restore correct patterns of movement, prevent muscle imbalances, and produce a greater sense of body awareness in activities of daily living and sports. Treatments include soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, balance and posture training and ergonomic education. Physical therapy treatment in a one on one session also allows for a smooth transition from rehabilitation to fitness.
Conditions treated include but are not limited to: back and neck pain, joint replacements, fractures, post surgical knee, hip and shoulder, arthritis, sciatica, sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SI), IT band syndrome, ankle injuries, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff injuries and tennis elbow.
*At Core Studios we will provide a Superbill with all information needed to submit for possible or partial reimbursement from your insurance company. Most insurance companies will reimburse for physical therapy treatments. Although Maryland is a direct access state, it may be benificial to obtain a doctor's presciption prior to your appointment. We also encourage you to verify insurance coverage prior to your first visit.
